A Cycle Ride from John O’ Groats to Lands End

Barry Zimmer, one of our members, is setting out, in June this year, on a cycle ride from John O’ Groats to Lands End. If you are a member of Ferndown U3A and would like to join him,

We all wish him the best of luck and look forward to hearing how he is getting on.

Good Luck, Barry!

We have a new Notice Board at The Barrington!

You can find it just past the cafe and toilets

Community Liaison

It is with great sadness that we have learnt of the death of Les Brand.

Les was one of our longest standing members, having joined some 20 years ago. He was known to many of our members, particularly in the Drama, Creative Writing and Choir Groups, where his enthusiasm and creativity were always in abundance.

He was the initiator and driving force behind the Variety Show, which went ahead in his memory.

We send our thoughts and condolences to his family.

Rest in Peace, Les
